Pergola and Gazebo Warranties Compared by Brand

Pergola and gazebo warranties compared: how many years each brand covers, which models state nothing, and what to read in the fine print before you buy.

A pergola costs hundreds or thousands of dollars and sits outside through every season, so the warranty matters. Terms run from one year to six in our listings, and some brands give no warranty term in their specs.

Warranty length by brand

As of November 8, 2026, this is what each brand states across the models we track:

Brand Models in data Warranty length Models with no warranty stated Price range
Domi Outdoor Living 8 5 years 0 $649.99 to $1,999.99
Kozyard 6 1 year 0 $1,679.98 to $3,485.99
Mirador Outdoor 14 2 to 4 years 0 $1,499 to $7,499
Paragon Outdoor 13 4 to 6 years 2 $1,679.99 to $6,899.99
Purple Leaf 4 1 year 0 $2,499 to $5,699
Sunjoy 5 not stated 5 $822.25 to $1,596.54

Domi states 5 years on all eight of its models, from the $649.99 wall-mounted 10' x 12' gazebo to the $1,999.99 metal louvered pergola 10' x 20'. Paragon spans 4 to 6 years, with the Suprema line at 6. Mirador ranges from 2 years on the Steel 80S pergola to 4 years on its 111DA, 111A, Infinite and 140DA lines. Kozyard and Purple Leaf state 1 year. Sunjoy states no warranty term, and two Paragon models (both Grand Tuscan sizes) do not either.

The longest and shortest

The 6 year Paragon Suprema costs $2,519.99 at 10' x 12', and the 1 year Kozyard of the same size costs $1,679.98. The extra five years cost $840.01, or about $168 per year of coverage. Domi, by contrast, gives 5 years on a $649.99 gazebo.

What a warranty does and does not tell you

Years alone are a weak measure. Federal law, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, lets a maker call a warranty "full" only if it meets minimum standards: free repair, no limit on implied warranties, and a refund or replacement after failed repairs. A warranty that does not meet them must be labeled "limited." Critics note that nearly all consumer products now carry limited warranties. Assume yours is limited and read it for:

Written warranty terms must be disclosed in plain language, so ask the seller for the full text before paying, not the summary on the product page.

How to use this

  1. Compare warranty years only between similar sizes.
  2. Treat a missing term as a question for the maker, not as no coverage and not as coverage.
  3. If you buy a 1 year warranty brand, make installation and anchoring exact, since defects tend to show in year one anyway.
  4. Pair the warranty with ratings: our wind and snow guide and material guide show how.

Every model page lists the warranty from the maker: for example Paragon Suprema 10' x 12' and Domi Metal Louvered Pergola 10' x 20'.

Our top picks

The best-scoring model in each list. Scores compare models within one list, so 100 means best there on every point, not perfect.

Scores reward a low price per square foot, high snow and wind ratings and long warranties, all as the makers state them. They don't measure build quality, finish or how easy assembly is, so use them to shortlist, then read the model pages.
